Our designer quoted from the Chinese poems “The shade of the sycamore trees on Sinan Road, the scent of autumn, and the smell of the lane” to inspire the design and started a Shanghai-style urban luxury journey.

The posh restaurant was designed in The Agile Marriott Marquis Shanghai. The dividend entrance from the Western and Chinese restaurants are inspired by the “Shikumen” is a traditional Shanghai architectural style combining Western and Chinese elements. The restaurant serves all-day globality influenced fare. The modern exquisite kitchen shines the chef’s cooking techniques.

Dainty-styled guest rooms with natural warm colours appearing of Shanghai’s autumn season, patterns with raw materials and light layered. The headboard of the guest room applied the iconic sycamore tree patterns. Bespoke furniture and feature light fixtures take inspiration from traditional Shanghai style. The decorative lamps and lanterns highlight the key points and illumination levels, creating a cosy atmosphere.
